Born on 1 January 1978 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Lakshman Devaraj is the founder and proprietor of AV Tiles Company, one of Chennai's leading destinations for premium tiles, sanitaryware, terracotta products, and innovative roofing solutions.
After completing his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) and Master of Business Administration (MBA), Lakshman began his professional career in the international financial sector. He spent ten years in Australia, specializing in the foreign exchange (Forex) industry, gaining valuable experience in business management, financial markets, customer relations, and global business practices.
Driven by his passion to build a customer-centric enterprise in India, Lakshman returned to Chennai and founded AV Tiles Company in 2006. Starting with a clear vision of delivering premium-quality products backed by exceptional service, he transformed AV Tiles into a trusted name in the building materials industry.
